Not all learning at BTA is confined to the classroom. Field trips, study abroad, internships and extra-curricular activities provide opportunities for students to explore new fields of interest, cultivate leadership skills, and learn teamwork.
The school’s Boston location enables BTA students to visit some of the country’s finest museums and cultural institutions. School-sponsored international travel opportunities have made it possible for many to journey to Canada and Europe to absorb languages and also to experience customs they might otherwise only read about. Every senior participates in a three-week internship exposing them to professions they might choose to pursue as life-long careers.
All BTA students participate in a wide-range of extracurricular activities which currently include the production of the school newspaper, performing arts, and community service. Photography, chess, ice skating, fitness training, and fishing are only some of the options open to middle and upper schoolers. Most of these activities are suggested by the students themselves. From publishing the newspaper to planning chapel to running the student council, Boston Trinity Academy students are engaged in developing a dynamic culture fostering collaboration and cooperation.
