Student Life at Boston Trinity Academy

[student life at BTA]

We believe that learning takes place both in and outside of the classroom and, therefore, Boston Trinity Academy offers more than just a rigorous academic program. Along with scholarship, we endeavor to instill moral integrity, courage, wisdom, self-discipline, kindness, and faith in our students. Our emphasis on spiritual life and our extensive co-curricular program provide opportunities for all students to develop their whole selves. Whether on the athletic field or in the chapel band, students are afforded the opportunity to discover their own talents and strengths and to share them with others. All this takes place in an environment of love and concern as BTA’s faculty, not only as teachers but also as advisors, encourage their students’ development and maturity. This connection with adults provides each student with a sense of being fully known and cared for at school.

The academic year begins with the entire school participating in our annual three-day retreat. This is a unique opportunity for new and returning students to gather with faculty to create community. It is a place where friendships are established, goals are set and enthusiasm is born for the months of challenge ahead.

Throughout the year, students participate in a range of co-curricular activities that help them develop qualities sure to serve them for years to come. It is not uncommon to see students congregating in the hallways or shooting hoops in the parking lot long after the last bell has rung. This is confirmation that BTA has a school environment in which students feel comfortable and at home.
