"Through the Institute, I have seen students transformed from being nearsighted about life to gaining a great moral vision, or from aiming for the glory of college admissions to aiming for the humility of lifelong service to others. I have seen students who began discussions about the need to preserve the diversity of our school. I have heard students discussing the theories of justice and how to apply them in life. I have witnessed students who took time to serve the poorest of the poor in Nepal, South Africa, and Rwanda. I have seen young people making a huge difference in communities near and far. The heart of my work is about transformation--this is what education is all about; this is what Trinity Institute is all about."
