"Teaching history at BTA is extremely rewarding. Students are challenged both by what is totally unfamiliar, as we explore cultures and histories very different from their own, and by what they thought was familiar, as we consider the deeper issues of American history and Western Civilization. It is exciting to see how students learn to think more deeply about themselves, others, and their world, and how they grow in their ability to express what they come to think. It is even more inspiring when they take what they have learned and apply it in today's world through the Trinity Institute of Leadership and Social Justice."
