The summer trip to South Africa is an experiential learning trip that aims to deepen students’ understanding of the devastating impact of systemic racism on a multi-racial community in South Africa--a community that parallels our own.

The trip consists of visiting local schools, tours of major museums that provide context to Apartheid and post Apartheid eras, visiting a wildlife reserve and safari, community service, and intensive lessons on South African history, government, and systemic racism.
