Who we are
AT BTA we believe that a good education will equip students to do something great with their lives. The Trinity Institute of Leadership and Social Justice is Boston Trinity Academy's leadership program, providing students with the opportunity to develop a life distinguished by service and moral vision.
What we offer
We offer students opportunities for various levels of engagement:
- A range of programs and seminars required for all students, challenging them to explore a radical understanding of social justice
- An intensive leadership and service internship program
- Student-led fundraising to support 6 orphans in Nepal
- Students participate in community service days to renovate a historic cemetery in Dorchester
- Annual service learning trips to a village and orphanage in Nepal
- Trips to South Africa to study Apartheid and reconcilliation
- A student-led seminar on issues surrounding fair trade which is presented to the entire community
- May Term for all juniors: a three week intensive course examining various western notions of justice through the prism of contemporary moral dilemmas
What we do
Grounded in a Christian view of restorative justice, the Institute aims to help students realize a robust vision of citizenship.
