International Student Summer Institute 2017

June 25 - August 4, 2017

Register by April 17.

Boston Trinity Academy is now accepting applications for the 2017 International Student Summer Institute (ISSI). This will be our sixth year of ISSI. Our camp has grown from just a small initial group to last year's camp of 100 students. Students in this English language immersion program improve both written and spoken English while learning about American culture in the historic city of Boston and building friendships for a lifetime. Groups are welcome to come for one to four weeks.

Classes

Participants in ISSI will be immersed in the English language during their stay in Boston. Each day at camp starts with a morning assembly featuring guest speakers and singing. Morning classes focus on improving all four language skills (writing, speaking, reading, and listening) while afternoon classes work on English through activities such as art, drama, dance as well as through lessons on American culture and writing with Google docs. After classes, students have the opportunity to enjoy recreational activities with American students. For a sample schedule, please click here.

American Students

Students at Boston Trinity Academy from grades 6-12 take part in the afternoon sessions at camp. Each American student joins with a small group of campers in recreational activities such as scavenger hunts, karaoke, ping pong, basketball, and traditional American games.
