BTA Visual and Performing Arts Camp

The BTA Visual and Performing Arts Camp includes courses which encourage a thoughtful exploration of the arts.  These classes give students the opportunity to engage their curiosity and creativity in a variety of ways and will whet their appetites for further creative endeavors.

The Visual and Performing Arts Camp is a 2-track program.

Track 1 : Students sign up for one to five weeks and choose two classes per week from a variety of offerings including pottery, papercraft, painting, drawing and other visual arts.  They can continue in the same courses during subsequent weeks or take different classes.  A course catalog can be viewed here.

Track 2 – Theatre Arts : This comprehensive theatre arts class continues through five weeks.  It includes every aspect of live performance from playwriting to stage design, costuming, and make-up and concludes with a public performance.  Students in this class will have the opportunity to visit Boston area  theatres and meet with artisans who work in the theatre arts.
