    • BTA is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges.
  7. To what associations and organizations does BTA belong?
    • BTA is a member of the National Association of Independent Schools, the Association of Independent Schools in New England, the Association of Christian Schools International, and the New England Association of Schools and Colleges.

  9. Do you offer an arts program?
    • BTA offers both visual and performing arts. Students through grade 11 are required to take visual arts as an academic course. In addition, there are visual arts extra curricular activities including mural design and photography.
    • Performing arts include middle and upper school choir, chapel band, step team, and drama. Plays have included Arms and the Man, Midsummer Night’s Dream, Tom Sawyer, and You Can’t Take It With You. All students must participate in at least one year of performing arts in the middle school and one year of performing arts in upper school.

  10. Is Boston Trinity Academy affiliated with a church or denomination?
    • Boston Trinity Academy is an independent, non-denominational school rooted in the Christian faith. All students are required to take Biblical Studies classes examining both Old and New Testaments as well as theology and comparative religion.
  11. Are there students at BTA from other faiths besides Christianity?
    • While all faculty and trustees sign a statement of faith, BTA’s students come from all faith and non-faith backgrounds.
  12. How do students get to BTA?
    • Boston Trinity Academy is accessible by public transportation. The school is a five minute walk from the Hyde Park commuter rail station and a ten minute walk from the Fairmount commuter rail station. Students can also take an MBTA bus from the Forest Hills T-stop to a location within walking distance of the school.

    • Boston Trinity Academy accepts applications for students in grades 6 through 12, although most students enter in grades 6, 7, and 9.

    • Applicants must take the SSAT or ISEE exam to be considered for admission. For test dates and locations for the ISEE exam, consult www.erbtest.org. For the SSAT, www.ssat.org.
  17. Is financial aid available?
    • Financial aid is available based on demonstrated need and BTA’s financial resources.
  18. When will I know if my child has been accepted to BTA?
    • Admission decisions are mailed out to families in mid-March. Registration agreements and deposits must be received by BTA by April 15.
