[middle school academic requirements]
The faculty reserves the right to decide, for whatever reasons it regards as valid, to recommend or not to recommend a student for promotion to the next grade level. It is the policy of Boston Trinity Academy to promote only students who have proven the ability to complete the academic coursework for each specific middle school grade (6-8). Promotion to the Upper School may only occur when all of the following requirements have been met:
| Athletics: | Participation in the fall and spring athletic seasons each year. |
| Biblical Studies: | Bible 6, 7, 8 |
| Visual Arts: | Visual Arts 6, 7, 8 |
| Performing Arts: | All students are required to participate in either drama or choir every year. |
| History: | History 6 & 8 |
| English: | English 6, 7, 8 |

Mathematics: | Mathematics 6, 7, 8 |
| Science: | Science 6, 7, 8 |
| World Language: | Latin I - II for grades seven and eight. |
