Students Recognized for Academic Improvement

At the spring Academics Awards Assembly, Assistant Headmaster and Dean of Academics Tim Belk recognized ten students as Most Improved. Each spring, ten students are selected who demonstrate excellence in character, attendance, and participation and earn the highest grade point average improvement from Quarter 1 to Quarter 3. One student from each grade is selected from grades 6-10. The remaining five are selected from grades 11 and 12, as Boston Trinity Academy's requirement that all students take three Advanced Placement courses make their achievements particularly noteworthy.

The Most Improved Students were:

  • Benjamin Ramos '23
  • Dolly Tran '22
  • Luke Lendaro '21
  • Tommy Margaris '20
  • Edneesha Firmin '19
  • Austin Moore '18
  • Evan Smith '18
  • Justin Zhai '18
  • Tae-ki Kim '17
  • Haadiya Fernandes '17

Headmaster Frank Guerra and Academic Prefect Kevin Rojas '17 celebrated these students, treating them to breakfast out.

At the fall Academic Awards, the top ten students who demonstrate outstanding achievement in academic excellence are honored.

This is the seventh year Boston Trinity Academy has recognized outstanding students and most improved students. "The idea for this recognition was championed by Mr. Belk," Headmaster Guerra notes. "He wanted to create a more public way of celebrating academic excellence and hard work. It has noticeably improved the academic culture at Boston Trinity Academy."

In addition, Que Min '17, Jayda Chandool '17, and Peter Yim '19 were recognized for going above and beyond in the tutoring program.

Boston Trinity Academy proudly celebrates each of these students, as well as the numerous others recognized for achieving Middle School Honor Roll, Middle School High Honor Roll, Upper School Honor Roll, Dean's List, and Headmaster's List.
